National Book Release Franz Wright Wheeling Motel & Other Poems Join us for a special fall afternoon reading at the Pierre Menard Gallery in Harvard Square to celebrate the release of Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Franz Wright's stunning new collection of poems, Wheeling Motel. Wright, an acclaimed poet and translator continues his decade-long journey that began symbolically with The Beforelife, continued with Walking to Martha's Vineyard, and most recently in the collection God's Silence. The Boston Review has called Wright's poetry "among the most honest, haunting, and human being written today". This event is co-hosted and co-sponsored by The Grolier Poetry Bookshop, the country's oldest all poetry bookstore.
