Franz Wright, Waltham Pulizter Poet Reads for National Poetry Month

The first speaker ever at Back Pages Books, Franz Wright, Waltham's lauded poet will return for a special Sunday afternoon National Poetry Month celebration. In honor of the event, Back Pages Books has commissioned the publication of a limited edition broadside letterpress poem from Wright's latest work of original poems, God's Silence. The broadside will be set and printed by Waltham's Quercus Press in conjunction with Back Pages Publishers.
Franz Wright is a recipient of numerous awards including a Pulitzer Prize for his book Walking to Martha's Vineyard. He and his wife, the poet and translator Elizabeth Oehlkers Wright received a Lannan Literary Grant for their masterful 2008 translation of Belarussian Poet Valzhyna Mort's collection Factory of Tears.
