CHRISTINA MERCADO reads from You Can Do It, Bunny! featuring Caragh Poh of HelloGiggles
When Christina Mercado completed her Masters program, she was confident that she would find her way into a full-time job and get her life together. What she didn’t expect was to be a first-hand victim of the economic recession.
To find a
creative solution to the anxiety of full-time job-hunting, and with no
formal training in illustration or writing, she began the creation of her
semi-autobiographical "children’s book for grown-ups": the humorous misadventures of a cute,
cartoon recently-graduated young rabbit applying for jobs in Animal World.
Join us as we host blogger Caragh Poh, and Lexington High School alum Christina Mercado as she explores the ups and downs of job hunting in her animal picture book memoir. There will be pictures and carrot cake!
